The brief required designing a tool responding to the material of a steel bar. As initial response of mine, I forged it until it become almost like a nothing more than a gum on the street. Then, I realised however brittle and thin it is, it cuts.
This realisation leaded me to design a knife. I compromised myself to use the modern technology of laser cut to design it mass manufacturable. But, at the same time, by harnessing the old techmnology of forging iron, it could be able to be the mix of old and new technology.
